Royal Windsor sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Towle in Newburyport, Mass. Ovoid bowl with helmet mouth, flower-capped double scroll handle, and domed foot. Chased and scalloped frames (vacant) interspersed with pendant flowers. Shoulder and foot rim have alternating flower heads and volute scrolls with beaded border. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. 67420, and volume (“8 half pints”). Very good condition.

Chinese silver censer, ca 1910. Drum-form agate body set in silver gilt mounts with scrollwork and lunettes. Leaf-capped side bracket handles. Upward tapering support and stepped foot with fretwork brackets. Cover raised with pierced scrollwork borders bud finial with leaf brackets on solid central mount with scrolls and fan. Silver gilt and heightened with blue, green, and red enamel. Marked “Silver”. Very good condition.

Bellied bowl with drum-form neck, flared rim, and capped s-scroll handle; raised and stepped foot. Shaped frame (vacant) with chased scrolling leaf surround, and leaf and flower bands. Dramatic Japanese Meiji silver centerpiece vase, ca 1900. Globular bowl with tall cylindrical neck and flared mouth; raised and inset foot. Bowl has wraparound roiling waves with claw-like spume in relief and a horned and scaley dragon, baring teeth and gripping the sides with talons. Visible hand hammering. Signed on bottom. Italian Modern fantasy marine sterling silver centerpiece. Ovoid shell with second hemispheric shell set in back on ovoid seabed base. Naturalistic irregularities, striation, and accretions as well as a thriving crustacean community with crabs, snails, and conches not to mention fish and seahorses emmeshed in the kelp and grasses mounted to the back exterior.
