Three scallop-shell mounted leaf supports. Engraved armorial. Gorgeous Georgian Neoclassicism from across the Irish Sea. Fully marked. Very good condition with nice patina.

English Georgian sterling silver salver, 1727. Square with molded rim and curvilinear corners. Engraved armorial in well center. Rests on 4 corner hoof supports. Substantial with nice heft from the year the first Hanoverian king George I died and was succeeded by his son George II. A really nice piece of native craftsmanship from the early years of the German ascension. Worn marks including London assay stamp. Very good condition.

Rare and beautiful turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass vase by historic maker Loetz with engraved silver overlay. Steep baluster with flared rim and spread foot. Loose and fluid floral overlay. An open and dynamic design with irregular petals and whiplash tendrils. Glass is shaded azure blue with dense lozenge-form quilting which contrasts with the asymmetry of the overlay. Pontil mark. Large Chinese silver mug, ca 1880. Cylindrical bowl with bellied and beaded dragon-encircled bottom. Pastoral frieze with farmers tilling soil and water buffalo pulling plow. In background buildings and trees. Sweet scenes of country life that contrast with the scary, scaly dragon forming s-scroll handle that grips the bowl with talons. A horned voyeuristic beast that peers over the rim with gaping, fanged jaws. Chinese marks and initials WF for Wing Fat in Canton. Very good condition.
