Pair of George III sterling silver gravy boats. Made by William Bond in Dublin in 1794. Each: Ovoid with helmet mouth and gadrooned rim. Leaf-capped double-scroll handle mounted to scrolled end. Three scallop-shell mounted leaf supports. Engraved armorial. Gorgeous Georgian Neoclassicism from across the Irish Sea. Fully marked. Very good condition with nice patina.

Edwardian Neoclassical sterling silver bowl. Made by Sebastian Harry Garrard in London in 1908. Rectangular with solid well and open lobed wire sides. Solid shoulder with leaf-capped volute-scrolled ends. Corner ball supports. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp (“Garrard & Co Ltd / Albermarle St London W.”). Very good condition.

English Georgian sterling silver salver, 1727. Square with molded rim and curvilinear corners. Engraved armorial in well center. Rests on 4 corner hoof supports. Substantial with nice heft from the year the first Hanoverian king George I died and was succeeded by his son George II. A really nice piece of native craftsmanship from the early years of the German ascension. Worn marks including London assay stamp. Very good condition.

German Classical silver beaker cup, 18th century. At top leafing scrollwork and scallop shells; at bottom twisted leaf-and dart border. Ornament chased and heightened with engraving. Interior gilt washed. Maker’s mark comprising letters S and I. Condition: Minor dent on bottom otherwise very good with excellent patina.

Victorian sterling silver mustard pot. Made by George Frederick Pinnell in London in 1844. Round with open scrollwork sides and spread base with applied leafing scrollwork. Hinged and domed cover with vasiform finial leaf thumb rest. Capped s-scroll handle. Open bottom. Detachable cobalt glass liner. Fully marked. Very good condition. Glass has a few rim chips.

Victorian Neoclassical sterling silver coffee set. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1890. This set comprises 3 pieces: Coffeepot, creamer, and sugar. Ovoid bodies, raised oval feet, reeded rims, high-looping capped handles (coffeepot stained-wood), domed covers (coffeepot hinged), and stained-wood finials. Lobing. Rims reeded. A nice example of Georgian revival. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date symbol, and no. 2301. Very good condition.

Rare and beautiful turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass vase by historic maker Loetz with engraved silver overlay. Steep baluster with flared rim and spread foot. Loose and fluid floral overlay. An open and dynamic design with irregular petals and whiplash tendrils. Glass is shaded azure blue with dense lozenge-form quilting which contrasts with the asymmetry of the overlay. Pontil mark. Excellent condition.

Large Chinese silver mug, ca 1880. Cylindrical bowl with bellied and beaded dragon-encircled bottom. Pastoral frieze with farmers tilling soil and water buffalo pulling plow. In background buildings and trees. Sweet scenes of country life that contrast with the scary, scaly dragon forming s-scroll handle that grips the bowl with talons. A horned voyeuristic beast that peers over the rim with gaping, fanged jaws. Chinese marks and initials WF for Wing Fat in Canton. Very good condition.
