Pair of Francis I sterling silver low 3-light candelabra. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass. Each: Central socket on bell-form base to which are mounted two leaf- and flower-wrapped scrolled and reeded arms, each terminating in single socket. Arms have threaded plug set in socket on raised foot. Low relief ornament with leaves and fruit and flower clusters. Fluting. Sockets bellied and rims scrolled. Each: Rectilinear body with lip spout and curved corners on same raised foot; high-looping leaf-covered handle with ribbed cast volute scroll terminal between scrolls and incised volute scroll mount. Victorian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1877. Globular bowl with drum-form neck, small lip spout, and c-scroll handle. Bowl has vertical ornament in form of applied acanthus leaves alternating with embossed gadroons. Neck has applied harps in wreaths between leafing scrolls. Each: Ovoid socket with bobeche on spool support mounted to stepped square base with scrolling leaves at corners. In low relief draped matrons bearing wreaths and olive branches. Beading and leaf-and-dart. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Everted rim with repousse scallop shells. Interlaced script monogram engraved on underside. Edwardian Regency glass and silver water pitcher. Made by Heisey in Ohio, ca 1910. Faceted; top half has acid-etched beading, craquelure, and volute-scroll swags with pendant leaves. Mouth and u-spout have hand-hammered silver collar. C-scroll handle has silver cap. Glass signed. Very good condition.

Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1907. Four curved and wavy sides with concave corners and molded rim. On exterior are acid-etched ogee frames (vacant) surmounted by dense leafing branches. Engraved monogram. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 17032C (first produced in 1907), and director’s letter m. Very good condition with strong definition.

Midcentury Modern sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Alphonse La Paglia (d. 1953) in New Jersey. Baluster with asymmetrical oval mouth; stepped and round foot ring with flat beading. High-looping handle wrapped with abstract leaves; scroll terminal inset with Jensen-inspired seed-spilling pod on wire stem. The influence of the master applied to a traditional form. Marked “La Paglia Sterling 208”. Very good condition.

German 800 silver figural bird bowl, ca 1910. A big beautiful swan with graceful downturned neck terminating in closed and tapering bill. Fan-shaped tail and hinged wings ready to spread for taking flight if the party chat gets too dull. Finely chased and engraved feathering from dense and imbricated to fluffy and plumy, and tucked-up taloned and webbed feet. Capacious hollow body for holding treats or flowers.
