American Edwardian Art Nouveau glass vase with engraved silver overlay, ca 1910. Baluster with flared rim and spread foot. Overlay in form of flowers, scrolls, and diaper with rectilinear and rinceaux bands on neck and foot. Glass is clear. Very good condition.

Plique à jour enamel and gilt sterling silver bowl. Made by David Andersen in Norway, ca 1925. Inspired by Viking longboat with dragonhead stempost and tail sternpost, and rim comprised of warrior’s shields. Oval form for stealthy gliding. Planks with filigree rinceaux. Stylized Arts & Crafts ornament. Translucent green, red, yellow, and purple. Marks include maker’s stamp. Excellent condition with strong and intact color.

Large Chinese silver mug, late 19th century. Straight and upward tapering sides with dense low-relief frieze on stippled ground: A battle with spearmen, flag bearers, swordsmen, and lancers. An open gate indicates the direction of the fighting. Spectators look on from a pavilion window. Cast dragon handle—a horned, scaly, serpentine beast that grips the side with talons. Interior gilt washed. Marked. Very good condition.

Fresh and pretty open ornament: Diaper, leafing scrollwork, flowers, and birds. Detachable silver-plated liner. Fully marked including design no. 478593, which was registered in 1906. Very good condition.

Plique à jour enamel and gilt 930 silver bowl. Made by Marius Hammer in Norway, ca 1910. Round with curved sides. Well green guilloche enamel. Horse bust side handles. Bands of stylized plant and geometric ornament. Fine craftsmanship and rich colors. In form of Viking kjenge (ale bowl). A beautiful piece by Hammer, who contributed to the revival of Norwegian art and history. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

George III sterling silver tray. Made by William Pitts & Joseph Preedy in London in 1792. Oval with reeded and scalloped rim and leaf-wrapped and reeded c-scroll end handles. Chased ribboned garland with pendant flowers. Engraved coat of arms with Latin motto “Vivat veritas” (“Let the truth prevail”). Fresh and pretty Georgian Neoclassicism. Fully marked. Very good condition with nice patina.
