Set of 4 George III cast sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Richard Morson & Benjamin Stephenson in London in 1771. Each: Spool socket with detachable bobeche mounted to knopped and twisted shaft on raised and serpentine foot. Fluted and imbricated shell ornament. Gadrooning. Coronet over letter H engraved on bobeche and socket. Georgian Rococo design best viewed by flickering flame. Fully marked. Very good condition with nice patina.

Set of 4 Victorian Classical sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Hawksworth, Eyre & Co. Ltd in Sheffield in 1880. Each: Gadrooned urn socket with detachable bobeche mounted to stepped top of tapering and fluted pillar on raised square base. With one 4-light inset comprising central socket on wax pan to which are mounted 3 scrolled and reeded arms each terminating in same. Central socket has domed cover with vasiform finial. Low relief pendant flowers and garlands with ribbon and paterae.... Click for details

Chinese silver mug, ca 1910. Straight and upward tapering sides and c-scroll handle. A spare form enlivened with applied wraparound dragon chasing its tail. Marks include stamp for Wang Hing, a maker and retailer in Canton and Hong Kong. Very good condition.

Edwardian Regency sterling silver 3-piece coffee set, ca 1910. This set comprise coffeepot, creamer, and sugar. Coffeepot and creamer have ovoid body. Sugar has round body. All faceted with raised foot and capped double-scroll handles. Coffeepot cover hinged and domed with vasiform finial. Creamer and sugar have gilt-washed interior. Large sterling silver Revere bowl, ca 1930. Retailed by Cartier in New York. Traditional form with tapering sides, curved bottom; allover spot hammering. Plain and stepped foot. Fully marked including maker’s (Old Newbury Crafters) and retailer’s stamps, no. 811, and phrase “P. Revere / Boston 1768 / Sons of Liberty / Reproduction”. Very good condition.

Pair of Portuguese Classical silver candlesticks, ca 1840. Each: Globular socket with turned downleaf-and-dart rim; knopped and baluster shaft on domed foot mounted to shaped square base with applied leaf rim and splayed corner paw supports. Dentil, diaper, pointille, guilloche, and gadrooned ornament. Marked. Very good condition with deep patina.

Pair of super stylish Art Deco Classical 950 silver 2-light candelabra, ca 1930. Each: Broad and faceted. Two scrolled arms with volute terminals and single socket on reeded wax pan bracketed to baluster with beading draped over top; raised foot. Marked “950M”, which is associated with Belgian production. Very good condition.

Rare Chrysanthemum sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Double-gourd with irregular fluting; helmet mouth with leaves wrapped around reeded rim. Shoulder has applied leaf and flowerhead border with radiating squiggles incised on body. High-looping handle with layered and sprawling leaf mount. Same beneath handle. Four volute-scroll supports with leaf and flowerhead mounts.

Danish Biedermeier Gothic Troubadour silver hunting horn on stand, 1855.

Horn has two applied bands with leafing scrollwork and cast green man applied to front. At top a third band with mandolin-strumming maidens and coat of arms-bearing pages in cloister colonnade. Cover domed with leaf-mounted cast figural finial in form of winged Classical man in drapery and helmet pouring wine into a cup. Tail cap has acanthus leaf border with cast owl finial. Gilt-washed interior.
