Pair of English Neoclassical sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1916. Each: Tapering column on dome flowing into stepped and concave base. Tapering socket with detachable bobeche. Ribboned swags. Fine fluting that shimmers in candlelight. Fully marked including maker's stamp, pattern no. 19187 (first produced in 1916), director’s letter m, and phrase “Reproduction Original by John Parsons & Co. Sheffield 1784”. Very good condition.

Spare and Modern sterling silver geometric centerpiece after design by Frank Lloyd Wright. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Large and detachable shallow cone set in small shallow cone mounted to two rows of rectangular pillars in turn mounted to square base. Fully marked including post-1967 Italian maker’s stamp (Pampaloni), retailer’s stamp, and Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation stamp. Very good condition.

Fin-de-siecle exotic Turkish sterling silver coffeepot. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1900. Narrow ovoid bowl with cylindrical neck and round inset foot. High-looping snake scale handle; s-scroll spout same as is ball finial on hinged and domed cover. Acid-etched and stylized scrollwork and flowers on stippled ground. Interlaced script monogram engraved to foot underside. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date symbol, and no. 515. Very good condition with strong... Click for details

Pretty Edwardian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Graff, Washbourne & Dunn in New York, ca 1910. Wide-bodied baluster with helmet mouth, leaf-capped high-looping handle, and 4 leaf-mounted volute scroll supports. Chased frames (vacant) entwined with flowers and leafing scrolls Mouth rim has applied leafing scrolls and flowers. Voluptuous form with nice heft. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (JE Caldwell) stamps and no. 626. Very good condition.

Pair of early Etruscan sterling silver covered serving dishes. Made by Moore for Tiffany & Co. at 550 Broadway in New York. Each: Oval bowl with everted rim. Cover domed; top has cast leaf-wrapped and reeded twist-lock ring handle for converting to a second serving dish; armorial engraved on side. Beaded and fretwork borders. Art Nouveau glass vase with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corp. in Providence, ca 1900. Baluster on cone. Overlay in form of vertical flowering stems overlooking wide and plain scrolled and whiplash frames. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. G3212/1. Very good condition.

Fairfax sterling silver tea tray, ca 1920. Retailed by Black, Starr & Frost in New York. Rectilinear with chamfered corners and shaped ends with cutout oval handles. A beautiful piece in the Art Deco pattern that was made by Gorham and Durgin. Marks include retailer’s stamp and pattern no. 04. Very good condition.

Edwardian sterling silver gravy boat. Made by S. Kirk & Son in Baltimore, ca 1940. Ovoid with helmet mouth and raised oval foot; dense floral repousse on stippled ground. Cast leaf-capped and -mounted high-looping handle with low-relief flowers. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1932-61), no. 278F, and phrase “Hand Decorated”. Very good condition.

Danish Midcentury Modern sterling silver compote. Wide and round bowl mounted to shaft with understated Classical ornament: Urn with bold and stylized leaf-and-dart ornament on sides, in turn mounted to baluster with half fluting; wavy borders. Domed foot. Visible hand hammering. Fully marked including maker’s stamp for Roif Fritiof Bratland, who was active from 1956-73, as well as no. 85A. Very good condition.
