Pair of George III sterling silver chambersticks. Made by William Burwash in London in 1818. Each: Bellied socket on upward tapering faceted support mounted to round shaped stand on hoof supports. Conical snuffer with vasiform finial set in leaf-capped c-scroll handle. Shell, leaf, and flower ornament. Armorial engraved on stand and snuffer. Pretty with nice heft. Fully marked. Very good condition.

A sumptuous set in a fresh and pretty pattern. A memorable dinner party guaranteed.
