Chinese silver gilt filigree box with enamel and carved jade, ca 1910. Rectangular with curved corners and hinged cover with scrolled tab. Enamel scrolls and flowers in shades of blue, green, pink, and white applied to mesh ground. Cover has cabled oval inset with carved jade. Gilt interior. Beautiful color and age-related toning. Marked “Silver”. Excellent condition.

Fully marked with Schroth stamp and phrase “Hand Made / Sterling”. Schroth was a New Jersey maker and retailer active in New Jersey beginning in mid-1960s. Very good condition.

Tile roof, chimney, mansard, door, and windows (front and back ones pierced). Rectangular mount with grass and brick-laid ground, on 4 corner balls. Roof hinged with coin slot. Fully marked including indistinct date letter. Very good condition with nice patina.

Cast canine finial in form of shaggy, waggy dog. Engraved strapwork bands interlaced with pointille arcade, and pendant acanthus leaves. Corner supports in form of Egyptian Revival winged Sphinx. Antique German 800 silver figural box in form of old-fashioned belle. She wears a snug bodice and ruffled crinoline skirt, and holds a fan in one hand and posy in the other. Her face is hidden by a wide-brimmed straw hat. A beautiful woman with a secret: The top half comes off and the bottom half is a receptacle. Boxy lady!

Fully marked including maker’s stamp for Weinranck & Schmidt, who were active in the 1880s and ’90s. Very good condition with deep patina.
