Art Deco sterling silver desk box. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1928. Rectangular with straight sides and curved corners. Cover hinged with molded rim. Cover has four intersecting linear bands that continue on box sides. Rectangular tablet applied to cover center. Box and cover interior cedar lined and partitioned. Hallmark includes pattern no. 21247X (first produced in 1928) and director’s letter m (1907-47). Very good condition.
