English Art Deco sterling silver hip flask, 1933. Curved front and back with allover engine-turned waving. Sides plain and flat as are top and bottom. Hinged and cork-lined cover. Very stylish and very convenient. English maker’s marks with London assay stamp and initials “C&C.” Also, German marks including Gebruder Friedlander stamp. Very good condition.

American Edwardian sterling silver motoring days flask, ca 1910. Rectangular with curved sides and short neck with hinged and cork-lined cover. On front in relief is a turn-of-the-century automobile put-putting along a country road. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (R. Wallace & Sons Mfg. Co.), no. 1412, and volume (1 pint). Wallace was active in Wallingford, Connecticut, beginning in 1870s. Very good condition with nice patina.
