George V sterling silver bun warmer. Made by Roberts & Belk Ltd in Sheffield in 1927. Egg-form. Cover has flat oval top with radiating facets and lobed bands; hinges have vasiform mounts. Bracket end handles. Perpendicular tab has ring inset with ball finial. Four tapering hoof supports. Pierced detachable tray set in solid detachable tray. Reeding and beading. For a fun Downton Abbey-style buffet breakfast. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

German Baroque Classical silver wine beaker, 17th century. Urn bowl with three splayed ball supports. Clusters of fruits and vegetables and pendant ribbon bows. At top engraved presentation on occasion of child born in 1699. Gilt-washed interior. Marks include Nurnberg city stamp and maker’s stamp “I H / M”. Good condition with minor dents.

Edwardian Modern Regency sterling silver basket. Made by the Sweetser Co. in New York, ca 1910. Faceted octagonal bowl with straight and tapering sides on spool support mounted to raised and faceted octagonal foot; fixed curvilinear handle. Engraved ornament with fluted and paterae curvilinear borders forming frames of which four vacant and the others inset with garlands, scrollwork, and vases. Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau glass vase by historic maker Loetz with engraved silver overlay. Cylindrical with bellied top and bottom, and short inset neck. Overlay in form of open and horizontal pattern with stylized leaves and scrollwork. Glass is Titania pattern with shaded streaky green in vertical leaf arrangement. Silver marked “Sterling”. Excellent condition.

Sumptuous Victorian Classical sterling silver serving dish. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Rectangular well and scrolling, asymmetrical turned-down rim; bracket-shaped ends with leaf-mounted scroll handles, and corner fruiting grapevine supports. Well has acid-etched leafing scrollwork and flower baskets. Sides have embossed and stippled lobing and corner volute scrolls, and applied cherubs brandishing arrows and flower baskets and frolicking together within the bounds of decency. Well and... Edwardian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Frank W. Smith in Gardner, Mass., ca 1910. Full-bodied globular bowl on domed foot; reeded and capped high-looping handle and wide u-spout. Irregular and scrolling rims applied with leafing scrolls. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 1794. Very good condition.

Large Japanese Meiji silver chalice, ca 1890. Oval bowl with irregular rim on tall cylindrical shaft flowing into raised and scalloped foot. Spout hammered ground. Double walled.
