Modern sterling silver picture frame. Rectangular window in plain and flat surround. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) photo. Marked “Raimond / Sterling”. Raimond Silver Mfg Co. was a Massachusetts maker active in the 1960s and ‘70s. Very good condition with crisp corners. Some velvet wear and discoloration.

Modern sterling silver traveling picture frame. Made by Thomae in Attleboro, Mass, ca 1940. Five hinged frames, each rectangular with oval surround. The big-family model. Fully marked including maker’s stamp. Very good condition.

Edwardian Rococo sterling silver mirror. Made by William Comyns in London in 1907. Heart-shaped beveled glass in shaped surround with pointed top and bracket supports. Embossed leafing scrolls and flowers in pell-mell, dynamic arrangement. At top scrolled cartouche engraved with the very turn-of-the-century name “Gertie”. Velvet mount with hinged easel support. A wonderful period piece with lots of charm. Fully marked. Very good condition. Velvet wear.

Rectangular surround based on stained-glass window design with mostly white as well as some colored blocks in irregular rectilinear grid. Cutoff circle in lower-right corner of off-center window. American Edwardian Modern sterling silver picture frame, ca 1910. Oval window in same surround with canted interior border and flat sides. Two ball supports. Simple and unadorned for the perfect portrait. With glass, silk lining, and red velvet back and hinged easel support for vertical display. Worn marks including no. 1503. Very good condition.

In hard-to-find landscape form with regal gold crown applied to top rail. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp, no. 47CC, and phrase “Hand Made”. Very good condition.
