Art nouveau hand-hammered sterling silver gravy boat on stand. Made by Georg Jensen in Denmark. Boat with lip spout, thumb rest and scroll hand with rinceaux-style seed-and-leaf finger ring. Tooled and tubular support on raised oval foot with tooled lines and applied beads. Stand oval with well and open ends inset with same seed-and-leaf motif. Both have postwar marks and no. 177. French 950 silver wine taster, ca 1920. Bowl exterior encircled with tooled grapevine interspersed with chased circles. Figural handle comprising olden-days country couple grape-stomping. Something more than just wine appears to be fermenting. The name “Bertrand Aloxe” engraved near rim. Super-sweet rustic chic. Fully marked including Minerva head and stamp for Marc Parrod, a Dijon maker active in the first half of the 20th century. Excellent condition.

English Victorian sterling silver ladle, 1997. Round bowl mounted to cast King-shaped handle with shell terminal. The hounds run single file up the handle to the boar that is trapped by more hounds and a huntsman coming from the opposite direction. Handle verso has hunting trophy and bowl verso has Elizabethan lady in neck ruff. Old fashioned style and quality with nice heft. Fully marked including unidentified maker’s stamp.
