Cast figural finial in form of winged and bare-bottomed cherub manipulating his scant drapery while standing on one leg. Melodious ting-a-ling. Fully marked including maker's stamp and postwar pattern no. 23639. Very good condition with nice toning.

Pair of Modern Georgian sterling silver open salt and pepper shaker, ca 1930. Retailed by Cartier in New York. Salt: Oval bowl in rectilinear body with concave sides and chamfered corners. Pepper: Faceted baluster with stepped foot, pierced top, and vasiform finial. Both pieces have retailer’s stamp and nos. 363 (salt) and 414 (pepper). Pepper has stamp for Currier & Roby, a New York maker active in the first 4 decades of the 20th century. Excellent condition.
