Pair of splendid and massive French Rococo 950 silver 9-light candelabra, ca 1880. Each: Baluster shaft on raised base with leaf-capped brackets and 4 scrolled feet. Low-relief shell, leaf, and scroll ornament. Central socket on open and twisting leaf shaft, surrounded by 8 scrolled and leaf-wrapped arms, each terminating in single socket. Sockets are leaf-wrapped and wax pans have irregular and striated leafy rim. Gilding soft and toned.

Refined and sumptuous with gorgeous shimmer.
