Chased fluid ornament with leafing scrollwork and tendrils. Rim interior has leafing scrolls. Turn-of-the-century sumptuousness with nice heft. Fully marked including Shreve, Crump & Low stamp, no. 1835, and volume (5 pts). Excellent condition.

High-looping handle wrapped with abstract leaves; scroll terminal inset with Jensen-inspired seed-spilling pod on wire stem. The influence of the master applied to a traditional form.
