Pair of George III sterling silver sauce boats. Made by Samuel Godbehere and Edward Wigan in London in 1792. Each: Oval body on short support flowing into stepped oval foot. High-looping end handles terminate at support. Cover domed with vase finial. Spare and fluid form in the Grecian style. Fully marked. Very good condition and patina.

Party-size Modern sterling silver and glass cocktail shaker. Made by Hawkes in Corning, ca 1920. Tapering glass bowl with raised and faceted diaper pattern. Short neck in sterling silver collar. Double-domed cover with built-in strainer and snug-fitting cap. For a really boozy night. Glass has maker’s stamp and silver marked “Sterling”. Very good condition apart from minor rippling to part of cover rim.

Stunning turn-of-the-century quilted glass vase by historic Loetz with engraved silver overlay. Ovoid with short neck and flared rim. Glass green with light diaper pattern on dark ground. Silver overlay in vertical floral pattern with straight and curved stems interspersed with flower heads. Condition perfect with beautiful shimmer.

Pair of German Neoclassical silver candlesticks, early 19C. Each: Upward tapering shaft on cylindrical plinth on stepped base. Bellied urn socket is fluted and lobed. Detachable bobech has leaf-and-dart ornament as do flange and foot rim. Same applied to shaft base. Beautiful Grecian restraint with figures of draped bacchantes applied to plinth. Handwork visible on interior. Marked. Very good condition.
