Edwardian sterling silver cake plate. Made by Heer-Schofield in Baltimore, ca 1910. Round and plain well with wide chased and repousse pictorial border: Rural turrets and granges alternating with horses taking a fence. Rim has pierced and applied scrolls and flowers. Fully marked and numbered 1377. Very good condition.

Hard to find set of 12 Martelé silver dinner plates. Made by Gorham in Providence. Each: Round well and wavy shoulder chased with strewn flowers—a tulip here, lily of the valley there. Delicate and restrained on nicely shimmering ground. Curvilinear rim. On back is engraved: “Robinson / October 27, 1922”. This design (HWC) was produced in 1915 and 1923.
