This is a beautiful sterling silver loving cup made by the American silversmiths at Reed & Barton. The elegant design features a circular, cup-shaped body on a flaring shaped, circular base. The three side handles have a lovely, organic curve and are embellished with sculpturally rendered flowers and leafy vines. The base has a similarly decorated border with flowers and leaves. This trophy is in excellent condition, and has not been monogrammed. It measures approx. 7 1/2” high, its opening is approx. 5 1/4” in diameter, and it weighs approx. 26 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the mark of Reed & Barton, the word Sterling, and pattern number 420. This beautiful loving cup has an Art Nouveau sensibility and would make a distinction addition to any silver collection.
