Victorian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. at Union Square, New York. Globular bowl and drum-form neck with small lip spout; c-scroll handle with reeded bands. Chased ornament on bowl with dense leafing scrollwork in hexagonal frames surrounded by same between beaded borders, and geometric band on shoulder. Cast patera and flower band on neck. Full marks (1870-75) including makers stamp, Edward C. Moore directors stamp, and pre-1875 pattern no. 3077. Very good condition. Dimensions: H 7 1/2 x W 8 x D 5 3/4 in.
