Victorian sterling silver trinket box. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1886. Round with straight sides and repousse ferns and flowers between egg-and-dart borders. Cover same with central leaf medallion and plain sides. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 8856 (first produced in 1886), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Excellent condition.
