Art Deco sterling silver box. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Rectangular with straights sides and hinged and flat cover. Sides and cover have fine and dense acid-etched allover scrollwork mesh in plain frames. Box interior cedar lined. Cover interior gilt washed. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 22354C, director’s letter m (1907-47), and wartime star (1943-5). Excellent condition.
