Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by Horton & Allday in Birmingham in 1902. Rectangular window in shaped rectangular surround with scrolled top and bracket feet. Low-relief ornament with whiplash tendrils and flower heads on stippled ground. Armorial cartouche (vacant). With glass, silk lining, and textile back and hinged easel support. Wonderful Liberty style for a very special family portrait. Fully marked. Very good condition. Worn back.
