Gorgeous turn-of-the-century American Art Nouveau glass loving cup with engraved silver overlay. Waisted cylinder with looping c-scroll silver handles. Clear-cut star on underside. Overlay in form of wildly windswept and entwined iris flowers and tendrils. The traditional floral motif interpreted with fin de siècle fluidity. Asymmetrical scrolled cartouche with shaded ribbon monogram. Glass is red. Silver marked “Sterling Silver Deposit 10”. Excellent condition.
