Art Nouveau sterling silver letter rack. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Three graduated partitions on rectangular support. Loose and exuberant Classical ornament with leafing scrollwork, scallop shells, and palmettes. Scrolled frame (vacant) supported by winged and bare-breasted nymphs with elongated leafing nether limbs flowing into scrolled supports. Hinged easel support. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 13752, and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Excellent condition.
