Fairfax sterling silver coffee and tea set. Made by Durgin (part of Gorham) in Concord, ca 1930. This set comprises 5 pieces: Coffeepot, teapot, creamer, sugar, and waste bowl.

Each: Straight and tapering body with chamfered corners, on straight and chamfered foot. Handles scroll bracket (coffeepot and teapot handles stained wood). Covers gently raised with soft faceting, finials chamfered with bead, and spouts faceted except for creamer, which has u-form spout. Creamer and waste bowl interior gilt-washed. An early 20th-century pattern that captures the emerging geometric style.

Fully marked including Durgin maker’s stamp, Daniel Low retailer’s stamp, and no. 04. Very good condition.
