Victorian Classical silver-plated dessert set. Made by Briddon Bros in Sheffield, ca 1880. This set comprises 12 forks and 12 knives. Each: Leaf-capped pistol handle. Fork shank and knife blade have ornamental engraving. In stained-wood case with fitted velvet and silk lining. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and letters EP (that is, electroplate). Very good condition.
