Hunt-themed cigarette case, ca 1920. Rectangular and hinged. On cover is enameled scene with two hounds and a pup snuffing around the carcass of a felled elk. No gore. Still very much in the Nature Red in Tooth and Claw vein. Dark palette with nuanced verdure and purpling sky. Three letter block monogram engraved on back. Marked “Alpacca”. Very good condition. Minor interior wear.
