American Classical sterling silver card case. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1871.Curvilinear cartouche with hinged cover. Sides curved with applied strapwork. Double-sided ornament with engraved volute scrolls and leaves surrounding shaped frame of which one with year 1871. Fully marked including date letter and no. 51. Very good condition.
