Turn-of-the-century American Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Oval window in flat acid-etched surround: Clusters of flowers and leaves between scalloped borders. Top vacant. Open bracket supports. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged support. For portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including no. 432, unidentified maker’s stamp (a 5-point star), and St Louis retailer’s stamp (Mermod, Jaccard & King Co.). Very good condition with strong definition.
