Bowl: Curved sides and short and straight foot ring. Vertical pilasters comprising graduated tomatoes applied to bowl exterior between incised bands. Spoon: Handle same with graduated beading. The classic stylized fruit design. Bowl hallmark has pattern no. 22888 (first produced in 1940) and director's letter M (1947-56). Spoon has director’s letter m (1907-47). Very good... Sterling silver base comprising pierced cylinder on urn mount terminating in upward tapering shaft on raised foot with reeded rim. Crystal vessel with wavy petal rim and bellied bowl terminating in cone encased in tapering cylinder. Pretty acid-etched flowers with cut stems and petals. Silver hallmark includes no. 55 and Chicago retailer’s stamp CD Peacock. Very good condition.
