Midcentury Modern sterling silver coffee set. Made by Spratling in Taxco, Mexico. This set comprises coffeepot, creamer, and sugar.
Coffeepot: Gently upward tapering sides, straight diagonal spout, and hinged and domed cover with cabochon stained-wood finial. Side handle also stained wood. Creamer and sugar: Tapering base and inset top with stained-wood “boomerang” handles.
Fully marked with maker’s stamp (ca 1964-7) and no. 30 eagle stamp, which was in use by maker until early 1966.... Click for details
