Pair of Classical silver open salts. Made by Wilkens & Söhne in Bremen, Germany, ca 1860. Each: Round with 4 leaf-mounted supports. Rim branch-form with applied flower heads. Sides have tooled pointille diaper inset with pierced quatrefoils. With: Clear glass liner with faceted sides and scalloped rim. Initials and year 1864 engraved to underside. Marked “12 löth” (that is 750 silver), maker’s stamp, and no. 3791. Very good condition.
