Victorian sterling silver serving platter. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Capacious oval well and curved sides with tooled slashes. Wide and wavy shoulder with pierced flowers, scrolls, and diaper, and reeded rim. Four leaf-mounted supports. Fully marked including pattern no. 9826 (first produced in 1888) and director’s letter M (1873-91). Fine condition.

Sides have tooled pointille diaper inset with pierced quatrefoils. With: Clear glass liner with faceted sides and scalloped rim. Initials and year 1864 engraved to underside. Marked “12 löth” (that is 750 silver), maker’s stamp, and no. 3791. Very good condition.
