Spout diagonal with chained ball cap for secure shaking. Handy small size for stylish solo drinking. Fully marked including New York maker’s stamp (Currier & Roby), Pittsburgh retailer’s stamp (Grogan), and no. 6711L. Very good condition.

Prohibition-era sterling silver cocktail shaker. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1925. Conical bowl, curved shoulder, short neck, scroll bracket handle, and helmet-mouth with snug-fitting bun cover. Allover Craftsman-inspired hand-hammering. A great vessel for getting hammered with homemade moonshine. Fully marked including Gorham and Whiting stamps, Gorham date symbol, no. 1666A, and patent year (1924). Whiting was acquired by Gorham in 1926. Very good condition.

An old-fashioned gent in top hat takes a fence in pursuit of a fox. Eager hounds close the gap. Sterling silver collar and domed cover with built-in strainer and snug-fitting cap. Fully marked. Chinese export silver cocktail shaker, ca 1900. Tapering cup. Cover has curved shoulders and cylindrical neck with cap and built-in strainer. Repousse chrysanthemums on stippled ground. Cover sides have engraved bands and dense slash lines. Armorial frame vacant as is cap top. Hallmarked with Chinese characters and letters HC for Hung Chong, who was active in Shanghai and Canton. Very good condition.
