Handle decorated with linear ornament, scrollwork, flower, and woman’s profile on medallion. Bowl has scalloped rim, piercing, and gilt residue. An early example of the historic Gorham pattern. (Medallion was first produced in 1864.) Fully hallmarked. Excellent condition.
