Tall sterling silver grape compote. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Curved bowl on twisted shaft on raised foot. Fruiting grapevine with fixed bunches mounted to bowl underside. Shaft has lobed knops, one with grape bunches and another with string beading. Visible hand hammering. A beautiful centerpiece with the classic motif. Postwar hallmark includes pattern no. 264B.
