Gilded Age sterling silver centerpiece bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Plain and round well. Turned-down and wavy rim embellished with scrolls, shells, flowers, and leaves. Ornament applied, pierced, and chased, and heightened with stippling and engraving. Turn-of-the-century sumptuousness – very much a statement piece.
