Sterling silver fish serving pair in Mazarin pattern. Made by Dominick & Haff in New York. This pair comprises 1 fork and 1 slice. Curvilinear with graduated egg-and-dart border. Evocative of seventeenth-century elegance. The fork has splayed tines. The slice has scalloped blade. Tactile with good balance. A nice pair in this pattern, which was first produced in 1892. Hallmarked.

Some look as if they can be plucked out the bowl. Script monogram engraved in well. Hallmark includes no. 1850. Excellent condition with fine detail and patina.

Edwardian sterling silver and enamel inkwell. Made by Grinsell & Sons in London in 1906. Dome base with reeded foot and rim and hinged cover. On cover top is inset enamel plaque: a cat sits on its haunches, front legs stiffened, ears erect, and gaze intense. Wonderful details include the shaded striping and fluffy chest fur.
