Neoclassical silver tea caddy. Made by Papus & Dautun in Lausanne, ca 1780. Rectilinear with concave corners. Short neck with snug-fitting cover. Engraved wave, pointille, and dentil ornament. Restrained and functional – guaranteed to keep the precious leaves fresh. Hallmarked. Nice form and patina.

Chinese export silver salver, ca 1890. Large and shaped. Well has engraved bamboo and blossoming branches, and is populated with birds, including cranes and peacocks. They fly, perch, and peck the ground. Central Greek key frame engraved with interlaced monogram. Rim has applied blossoming branches. Four blossoming branch supports. Hallmarked Luen-Wo, a Shanghai maker active from the late 19th until early 20th century. Nice condition and patina.

Bowl conch-form with double-sided gilding. A fine piece in the Japonesque pattern that was in production from 1872 to before 1904. Hallmarked. Nice definition and patina.
