George III sterling silver snuffbox. Made in London in 1822. Rectangular with curved corners and flat and hinged cover. Allover engine turning. On cover are two chased rectangular floral bands and central oval frame with presentation: To the officers of the / 65th / from Lt Colonel Warren. Cover has applied and scrolled tab. Box sides have two wrap-around chased floral bands. Box and cover interior lightly gilt and partitioned. A fine piece of 18th-century militaria.

Dutch 833 silver cow creamer, 1911. A benign beast with alert ears, red glass eyes, stocky body, and flicked back tail handle. Gaping mouth spout and hinged back cover with stylized flower finial. Rolls of neck fat suggested by incised lines. Rests on 4 sturdily planted hoofs. Hallmark includes date letter. Very good condition.

On side is the paper weekday strip, which can be manipulated by lever on the back. Back also celluloid with hinged support. Indistinct maker’s mark. Functioning condition. Frame very good. Some wear and discoloration to celluloid and paper. Back slightly detached.
