Beautiful sterling silver bowl. Made by S. Kirk & Son Co. in Baltimore in early 20th century. Deep and round bowl with floral repousse in form of scattered blossoms on stippled ground. Asymmetrical rim with alternating leaves and posies. Raised foot with Classical leaf-and-dart ornament. Hallmark worn – though appears to be from 1903 to 1907. Fine condition and patina.

Art Deco sterling silver coffee and tea set on tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1907. This set comprises tea kettle on stand, coffeepot, teapot, hot chocolate (or milk) pot, creamer, sugar, and waste bowl on tray.

Rectilinear bodies with faceted corners and supports. Bracket handles (kettle handle swing). Covers raised with soft faceting and faceted finial. An early and understated example of the geometric style.

Edwardian sterling silver cigarette case. Made by Henry Matthews in Birmingham in 1907. Rectangular and hinged. On cover a fresh-faced goalie kicks back the ball. It’s the start of the game, judging by his clean uniform. Interlaced monogram also on cover. Interior gilt. Hallmarked. Very good condition.

Pair of sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Each: twisted shaft terminating in beaded and lobed knop mounted to raised foot with “slashed” edges. Foot encircled by applied fruiting grapevine. Shaft top lobed and surmounted by curved capital with applied grape bunches. Socket (D 1 1/8 in.) set in large plain wax pan. The traditional Jensen grape motif applied to a heavyweight design.

South American silver mug, ca 1850. Tapering sides and applied rim and foot. Engraved band with figures and flowers. A highlight is the man dangling upside down in a beast’s jaws and his spear-wielding rescuer. Worked s-scroll handle with leaf cap. Nice patina.

Japonesque iron teapot with sterling silver mounts. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1883. A rare experimental piece. Japanese form with cover and twisted swing handle. Iron surface is granulated with nuanced patina. Mounts are bird, blossoming prunus branch, and insect. Interior appears to be tinned. Hallmark includes date letter, no. W19, and words “sterling” and iron”. Good condition. Interior has minor rusting.
