Pair of Edwardian Regency sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1914. Each: Oval and fluted form comprising urn socket, tapering shaft, and fluid stepped foot. Tooled Vitruvian scroll border and engraved flowers, scrolls, and leaves. Bobeche has raised bead-and-reel rim and is detachable. Fully marked including date symbol, code DKD, and Bigelow, Kennard retailer’s stamp. Very good condition.

Fruiting berry branch applied to rim. A great high-low design that conflates bucolic sustenance and precious metal. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Shreve, Crump & Low) stamps, year, and no. 566. Very good condition.

Fancy Regent sterling silver asparagus fork. Made by Durgin in Concord, New Hampshire. Scrolled and pierced handle with engraved flowers and scallop shell terminal. Flat shank with concave sides, wide and blunt tines joined by pierced ovals, and same ornament. A beautiful early piece in this pattern, which was first produced in 1901. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and Gorham stamp. Gorham acquired Durgin in the early 20th century. Very good condition with nice patina.
