Curved cylinder with high-looping handle in clear glass with acid-etched ornament: stylized garland and flowers, and shaped fish-scale surrounding silver overlay in form of leafy scrolls and garland. Oval medallion engraved with single letter monogram (M) and the years 1893 and 1918. Very good condition.

Raised and plain rectangular foot with curved corners. Fashionable Neoclassicism by the Regency great. Fully marked. Very good.

French Etruscan Revival 950 silver coffeepot. Made by Jean Nicolas Boulanger in Paris. Baluster with hinged and raised cover, ebonized wood side handle, “fish mouth” spout, and 3 hoof supports. Chased laurel wreaths and leaf swags at bottom, and fruiting grapevines at top. On front a horned and bearded satyr’s head. Cover has leaf-and-dart and imbricated leaf borders as well as beaded swags. Old-fashioned gracefulness with up-to-date, nouveau régime Classical vocabulary.
