Pair of sterling silver Medallion sterling silver salt and pepper shakers. Each: Cylindrical neck, bellied bowl, and round foot. Cover domed and overhanging with dense piercing. Two rondels with raised Classical head in profile on lined ground; one is a helmeted warrior, the other a sage matron. Beautiful pieces in the popular and evolving pattern with a New York association. The mark is associated with Ball, Black, a retailer in business from 1852-74. Very good condition.

Heavy and sumptuous sterling silver centerpiece bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Shaped oval well and irregularly lobed sides with chased leaf-and-dart border. Rolled-over rim with dense floral and scroll repousse. Foot ring has four leaf-mounted paw supports. Ornamental interlaced monogram. Fully marked including pattern no. 8867 (first produced in 1886) and director’s letter M (1873-91). Fine condition.

German sterling silver cow creamer, ca 1920. Retailed by Shreve & Co. in San Francisco. Stocky body on slender legs. Neat horns and tail ring handle. Milk enters through hinged back cover with chased fly, and exits through round mooing mouth. Marked “Sterling 925 Germany” with no. 4 and retailer’s stamp. Very good condition and patina.
