| A large Antique American Sterling Silver Double Inkwell & Stamp Box on Stand made by Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia, circa 1900. The stand is beautifully embellished with applied design of wreaths, crowns and cornucopia and then trimmed with a lovely braiding. This motif is carried forward on the fabulous stamp box that is mounted between the two inkwells. And the two crystal inkwells are also mounted with hinged sterling silver covers in the same design. Even the oval pen well is highlighted with braiding and finished on both sides with crowns. The stand then sits on four ball feet encircled by the same braiding. The inkwell stand is fully hallmarked “Sterling” and “Bailey, Banks & Biddle”. Excellent Condition. Lovely Patina. 28 Troy Ounces. The inkwell stand measures 10 5/8 in. X 7 1/8 in. X 1 1/8 in.
