The bowl is hallmarked with the French 1st standard silver mark and the makers mark of H & Cie, for Henin & Company, Paris. The bowl is of shaped oval form, raised on four scroll decorated bracket form feet. The body is lyrically designed in a shaped oval form with double “c” scroll handles and a scrolling rim. The body is repousse with undulating scrolling foliage and floral motifs. This bowl makes a true statement of life and design during the Belle Époque in Paris and would add grace to any home décor.
