In the late nineteenth century, Tiffany & Co. manufactured numerous pieces of flatware outside the realm of their flatware services for the table. This bonbon spoon is a prime example of unique pieces made during that period. This spoon has a beautifully styled shell shaped bowl with traces of the original gilding as well as a beautifully scripted monogram. The stem of the bonbon spoon is cast and chased in the repousse foliate style, terminating in a floral wreathe decorated harp form stem. Weight: 1 Troy Ounce. Length: 4 inches.
