| This stately Art Nouveau period vase was made by Graff, Washbourne and Dunn, New York, circa 1900. It was retailed by the firm of Henry Oemisch of Rochester, New York. The vase is fully marked on the underside of the base with Graff Washbourne and Dunn’s hallmark, retailer’s mark of Oemisch, style # 4870, 24 in. and sterling. The vase is of undulating baluster form and is hand hammered, chased and engraved with beautifully depicted poppies, buds and foliate tendrils. Words cannot express how magnificent this one-of-a-kind vase is. The quality of manufacture is on par with pieces produced by Gorham during the Martele period.
