| This centerpiece suite was made in Germany circa 1900. Each piece is marked with the German silver standard marks and numerous pseudo hallmarks, which was typical of the period. The set comprises a detachable silver framed cut crystal bowl and a silver mounted oval plateau. The bowl’s frame is beautifully executed in silver in the form of two swans swimming in opposition centered with two shell motifs. The frame is cast, chased and engraved in a high standard of craftsmanship. The oval mirrored plateau is framed with a beaded border and a cast, chased engraved and repousse contiguous pattern of acanthus leaves. The plateau is hallmarked as well.
