Georg Jensen Silver Compote, Johan Rohde 1910-1925
| This compote was made by the pre-eminent Georg Jensen designer and associate, Johan Rohde. Johan Rohde was famous for his hand made pieces of silver made for Georg Jensen in the early to mid- 20th century. He is known for designing the Acorn pattern as well as the Acanthus pattern. This diminutive compote has a hemispherical bowl raised on an openwork leaf and foliate stem raised on a spreading circular pedestal foot. Diameter: 5 ½ inches Height: 4 ½ inches.
