An American Sterling Silver Pitcher in clean, unadorned style. It is a reproduction of an 18th century Paul Revere design, but it is its’ simplicity that makes it timeless. Along with the pitcher’s simple form, both the spout and the handle are synonymous with today’s dictates of form and function. Large holes in the mouth of the pitcher leading to the spout suggest that its primary use was meant for a cocktail bar. It was made by J.C. Boardman & Co. of South Wallingford, Ct. and dates to 1950. “The Boardman Co. is perhaps best known to the general public for its famous silver trophies, including those for the Super Bowl, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open tennis tournaments.” The pitcher stands 6 ½ in. tall and measures approx. 4 in. in diameter. It weighs 13 Troy Ounces- a very good weight. It is fully hallmarked and is in excellent condition.   Price: $750   Stock #BE248
